Handmade Christmas Gifts #1-23, Done!

Without a minute to spare.

Seriously.

I started making bookmarks for my book club, oh, about 4 weeks ago. Plenty of time, right?

Wrong.

I bought my fabric and my interfacing (I love that word and that stuff!) and was all set to whip up 20+ bookmarks at the sew-in I went to a few weeks ago, but, alas, my sewing machine broke - on.the.second.one.

Grr.

I borrowed a coworker's machine (yay!) and got most of them assembled Sunday, but they were a little plain, in my opinion. Cute, but plain.

So, yesterday, I decided they needed personalized in some way. I stole (shh!) the logo for our book club and printed it out on these fabulous fabric sheets (Quick Fuse Inkjet Fabric Sheets) and ironed them on last night - just in time for tonight's meeting. Whew!

I am really happy with how they turned out, despite the bumps along the way. I hope the girls like them!
