Craft Catch-Up

After a weekend full of crafting (more on that later), I'm inspired to share some of the things I've made recently!

Fabric in embroidery hoops. Original, I know. The cool thing about this, though, is that those were my mom's embroidery hoops. She used them to make the most beautiful things before she died.

Placemat? I don't know. It was going to be a table runner, but I ran out of steam. I learned a lot, though, and isn't that fabric awesome?!

Embroidered dish towel for #ohcraftsewin swap partner! (More on that later!)

Twine-covered wine bottle for #ohcraftsewin swap partner! (More on that later!) I will NEVER wrap another wine bottle in twine. Or yarn. Or anything for that matter. It might look OK (especially with those great crocheted flowers from my friend Barbara), but it was NOT fun to do!

You have been very productive. Very nice things. I may have another wreath project though.

Thanks for popping by my blog! Yours looks cool. I really love the fabrics in your would be table runner. The wrapped bottle is so pretty. You simply must do another one one day!!! Sorry to hear about your Mom being gone. Mine passed a few years ago and things are not the same without her. I feel your pain.
