Maybe I Was Wrong

A couple years ago, I went to Sephora for my birthday, mostly for the makeover and partially for some mascara. I left with two shades of eye shadow that I knew I'd never wear.

I'm running out of my usual eyeshadow, so I threw some of my Sephora stuff - Stila Twig and Stila Pigalle - on today and, oops, was pleasantly surprised. I never thought I was a purple girl. And I know I'm not a maroon girl. But for some reason, these colors work. Maybe that Sephora girl knew more than I thought.

Now if only I could find the brush that I bought...

I love Sephora. I've never been one to wear a ton of makeup, but lately I've only been buying makeup from Sephora. It's more expensive, but worth it. I recently just got some of the BEST mascara I have ever owned. The stuff doesn't clump, doesn't irritate my eyes or my contacts, and makes my eye lashes look a mile long.

The girls love going to Sephora with me because they always get asked if they want to try on eye shadow. So they always leave with bright pink or purple eye lids! And they love getting the sample eye shadow applicator and eye lash combs - Arlene has stashed about 7 of them in her room, ha!
