Google: Now Curing Homesickness

Blame it on the holidays; blame it on Facebook; blame it on being a new mom - I'm a tad bit homesick. So, I decided to see if Google Maps could help. It kinda did. That 'A' is directly over a redbud tree at the end of my dad's driveway, which is like a hundred miles long. That dark oval to the right of the driveway is my pond. The white square is our barn. And the dark square above the barn is our house. It's comforting to know it's all still there, even though I'm not.

That's cool. Your pond is enormous.

So funny you posted this. Earlier this week I was trying to find out the name of the apartments I used to work at (baby brain??) so I used the Google maps street view to find the complex. Then I looked at our old apartment and Daid said "Oh Mommy and Daddy's house!" I almost cried. You can even see our car and van parked in front- sorta creepy.
PS- Very cool that you had your own pond.
