I Heart Color

I am a creative person. I work in a creative field. I love paper. And color. If I had $100, I could see myself buying a Pantone color swatch book. Just because. But in the meantime, I'll play with the one at work.

Why am I telling you this? Well, today, coworker Brian was wearing this cool shirt pictured above. We (um, me) thought it'd be fun to guess what Pantone colors made up his shirt. I'm thinking about making something (cards, cross-stitch, afghan, something) with these colors.

After guessing for awhile (yes, we held the book up to Brian's shirt), we gave up and looked the shirt up online. So, I can tell you that if you want to use these colors in your next project, you'll want Pantone solid, uncoated colors 7472, 167 and 112.

You know, I learned about Pantone when I started working for Xerox (Pantone certification, Creo, Fiery, blah, blah) and it still amazes me. Ahh, the little things in life...

Fun! I love color! I bet you would also have fun taking this test. A perfect score is 0. (I got an 8. Let me know what you get.)

Those colors have always, and will always, scream AMBER to me! I can be anywhere and see the combo of brown, orange, green and blue and think of you.
