I Feel Old

Did you know that the Magnum XL-200 turns 20 this year? Gulp. I totally remember the hype when it opened. Even B., who's from New York, went to Cedar Point that year.

I went twice, once with my class and once with my family. I have fond memories of standing in line (for hours) with my dad and brother waiting to ride the world's tallest, fastest roller coaster. It's still one of my favorites.

I totally remember the Magnum being the best new roller coaster ever when we went. The line was super long. Now it is so old you can get on right away.

My favorite! It's still the best ride that place has.

20 years? I don't believe it.

Wow...we are old!

I agree with MD2, this is still the best ride there. I love that it's so easy to get on now, without waiting for hours. Though we did wait for hours plenty of times!

The Magnum made me realize that I hate roller coasters. I've tried to ride it about 4 different times and every single time, I throw up. One time I passed out before I could even get on, so I guess technically I've ridden it three times. Sigh...I'm a loser...but I've come to terms with it! :)
