There's Only One Right Answer

For various reasons, my expectations for the Holiday Reception at work today were low, but I can excuse a lot if given enough meatballs. However ... there were no meatballs! (I feel like writing that all in caps, but caps annoy me, so I won't do it to you.)

Yep. No meatballs. Sure there was turkey and roast beef and mashed potatoes and punch, but who cares about food. I wanted meatballs. (And I'm not the only one, thank you very much.)

So, do you like meatballs as much as I do?

I believe your co-worker and my good friend feels exactly how you do.

Meatballs and CHEESE DO make a Christmas party.

End of story.

Meatballs would have been nice, the roast beef and mashed potatoes were delicious though

They should have called it Holiday Dinner and not a Holiday Party. If it were a party, there would have been meatballs. Turkey sandwiches does not a party make.

And, I'm sorry, no cheese? Completely unacceptable.

It was a disgrace. I was thoroughly unfulfilled.

I am a big fan of the meat ball. Plain, with BBQ sauce, or in spaghetti. I have to bring a dish to my work party next week - know what I'm gonna bring? MEATBALLS! (in CAPS!)

Meatballs rule. I was at a cocktail party last night and they were serving chicken wings! Like, uh, who eats those at a cocktail party while dressed up? Meatballs...
