This and That

I cannot concentrate today so I've decided to share some of the nonsense that is running through my head.
  • Online quizzes are fun. So far today I've learned that I'm only 50% weird and 20% redneck, both contrary to popular belief. I'm also not likely to become a vampire, which totally dashes my hopes of hooking up with Angel (aka David Boreanaz).
  • Pedicures make me happy.
  • I need to get my engagement and wedding rings cleaned.
  • While I'm grateful that my pregnancy has been smooth sailing so far, I would like to start wearing maternity clothes sooner or later.
  • Getting out of the pool after an hour-long water aerobics class is hard. Literally. It feels like I weigh a million pounds.
  • I'm looking forward to spending the weekend with some cool peeps and perhaps eating some delicious sausage gravy and biscuits.
  • On a related note, I'm excited to have eager dog sitters. (Am also slightly afraid that they are plotting to dog nap Devo while we're gone.)
  • I wish I had cool hair. And could teleport.
  • I think I'm going to buy the new Offspring CD.
  • We should have gotten the brakes on our car fixed a long time ago.
  • I could ramble like this for hours.

I think wishing for cool hair and teleporting should each have their own bullet point.
Also I am afraid of the dog napping myself.

as far as maternity clothes go...don't worry, you'll get there. i was the same way with julia. everyone kept telling me how great it was that I didn't need them, but I WANTED to need them. I wanted to look pregnant. In the end, I did. What was really weird was that I gained 17lbs with Julia and didn't need maternity clothes until about the 5th or 6th month, but with Keira I only gained 1 lb and needed them by the 3rd month.

I too wish I could teleport. Gosh, that would be so wicked cool!

Good list.

How far along are you? I am 16 weeks, and am putting off wearing maternity clothes as long as possible. My clothes still fit, I just have a muffin top. With Rhys, I started wearing maternity clothes at, oh...12 weeks! I am such a dork.

Thanks, T.W.I.T.!

I'm 23 weeks. I don't know why I want to wear maternity clothes so bad - I haven't even bought any yet. I think I just think it'll feel more real then!
