Hooray for Customer Service

On Monday I started a Moms in Motion water aerobics class at the Wildwood Athletic Club. From the moment I set foot in the Club, I was impressed. The membership girl, who showed me around and got me set up, may have the best customer service of anyone I've ever interacted with.

Case in point: the person scheduled to instruct my class Monday didn't show up. While almost everyone else had taken the class before and could do the moves on their own, the one other pregnant girl and I decided to just walk laps. Once the membership girl found out, she went out of her way to apologize and try to make it up to us. A complimentary bottle of water was a start and she was going to look into getting us one free class or a refund. To be honest, I wasn't that upset. I probably should have been since I was paying to be there, but I am understanding to a fault. In fact, if she hadn't called today, I probably would have forgotten all about it. Instead I'll be receiving a free prenatal massage for my troubles.

In addition to the membership girl's above and beyond attitude, the heated towels, the complimentary shampoo and conditioner and the hairdryers have sold me on this place. I don't even want to know how much a membership is. Instead I'm going to take advantage of my very affordable Moms in Motion class while I can!

I used to work in the Wildwood building (not the athletic club) and I can tell you that about 3 years ago, the price was (if I remember correctly) over $60 a month. Pricy in my opinion.

That sounds devine! Even if the water class didn't work out. You get a massage?! Oooooooooooo! SO JEALOUS!!

Or wait, did you take the water class? Either way, sounds like it was a great experience. Take advantage of times like these while you can sister!

Don't you just love it when someone does their job? Especially over and above?

Heated towels! I need to talk to the Urban Active folks about getting those.
