Hate is a Strong Word

So ... I really, really, really don't like socks. Usually I wait as long as I can before switching from open-toe shoes to closed-toe shoes in the fall, but I've already broken down twice this year.

I've tried to get over this hatred, er, strong dislike, by buying cute socks, fuzzy socks, tall socks, shorts socks, etc., but nothing will convince my feet that they need to be covered.

So here I sit, feet covered in charcoal gray socks, wishing I could have toughed it out for another month.

A, I agree WHOLEHEARTEDLY WITH YOU!!!

I ONLY wear socks when I run and when I go back home to the States in cold weather.

BLECH. They make my toes feel claustrophobic.

My feet are always cold, so I love socks. And I always wear slippers in my house; I have quite a few pairs. Also, I am 80 years old.
