Me? Evil?

DVRing is a sport in our house. We probably have enough shows saved to get us through 800 actor strikes, which is a good thing considering the state of Hollywood today. One of the shows B. always records is Comedy Central's Root of All Evil.

The show chronicles Lewis Black's search for the root of all evil. Each week, prosecutors "argue their cases for who's more evil, with match-ups including Oprah vs. The Catholic Church, Paris Hilton vs. Dick Cheney, beer vs. weed and more."

My favorite episode so far is Ultimate Fighting vs. Bloggers. "Prosecutors" (a.k.a. comedians) Andy Daly and Patton Oswalt deliver opening statements, Lewis Black delivers a brief history of Ultimate Fighting and Bloggers and, of course, there are closing arguments, which follow:
  • "Bloggers have degraded communicating to nothing more than electronic poo flinging."
  • "Ultimate Fighting is evil because it's a sport where you can literally kick a guy when he's down."
I'm not going to tell you who Black declares the official root of all evil, instead you can (and should) watch the episode here.

MD also hearts this show. And there have been a few times where multiple episodes were saved on our DVR. I've caught it a few times, seems funny.

I don't think I should even comment because I would be associating with such evil

I love Lewis Black, I think he's hilarious. I always feel bad that Greg Giraldo never wins his cases, because I think he's absolutely fantastic on the show!
