Cooking Woes

Back in the day (approximately 1995), I used to be known for my Oreo brownies. Little did my friends know they were from a box. (Shhh.) I had a request for those brownies this weekend, but I can't find the mix anywhere (I think it was Pillsbury). I've tried to recreate the recipe on my own, but they aren't as good as the mix. Why does all the good stuff go away?

NOBODY CAN MAKE OREO BROWNIES LIKE AMBER, NOT EVEN THE ONES FROM THE BOX. :) SHE HAS THE TOUCH. I TRIED TO GET THE CLASSIC PILSBURY BROWNIES, CRUSHED OREOS AND DUMPED THEM IN, JUST NOT THE DAME. I HAVE TO SAY THOUGH THE BARS SHE BROUGHT TO THE PARTY A COUPLE WEEKS AGO WERE PRETTY GOOD. THEY STILL ARE NOT THE OREO BROWNIES THOUGH. BOO HOO...
