Recovering Carboholic Confession

Since finding out that I'm insulin resistant last month, I've been watching my carbs like crazy. I'm taking this very seriously and have kept a pretty good attitude about the whole thing. (Although my favorite meal of stroganoff with mashed potatoes and bread and butter is calling my name.)

Last night, I decided to break down and have a Super Rope. I was at a ballpark and they just go hand-in-hand for me.

Did you know that Super Ropes have 46 grams of carbs? 46! I was devastated. But I ate it anyway. There's nothing wrong with testing the waters, right?

I have never understood the obsession with Super Rope. Isn't regular licorice better?

I remember having races when we were kids to see who could eat the most Super Rope in a minute. That was a really bad idea on our parts.

Keep these carb reports coming. I'm curious to know the carb totals of other unknown foodstuffs.
