I Caved

I am weak when it comes to peer pressure. The most recent result? That 'Chirp. Chirp.' crap to the right. Yep, I'm giving Twitter a trial run.

It's not that I don't like the concept. I've often wanted to post one-line comments on this blog. I'm just not sure anyone wants or needs to know what's going on in my head that often. I'm a pretty random person (some have said 'quirky') and I could see this scaring my loyal readers off...

Update: So, I've been Twittering for half a day now and already have two followers. (Or, as I like to call them, stalkers.) I'm also stalking, er, following five people.

Here's my question. I only want to do this for friends (including those from the Blogosphere). Can I block people I don't know or is that just rude?

Billy needs to Tweet!

Yes, block the pyschos. I've gotten a few "followers" who were really just porn sites. Nice.

You can also make your updates private, for only those that are following you. I think.

That's the beauty (?) of Twitter. It's easy to block anyone you don't know or don't like - or anyone that you know but still don't like.
