Happy 3.1415926535 Day!

Pi, Greek letter π, is the symbol for the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. Pi Day is celebrated by math enthusiasts around the world on March 14th.*

In honor of Pi Day (who knew there was such a thing?), I'd like to know ... what is your favorite kind of pie? Mine's cherry, followed closely by apple!

* B. told me it was Pi Day. I really don't track these things myself!

HA, that is so funny! I really hope my nerdy math sister is NOT celebrating this day today. If so, she will be up for some major teasing this weekend!

As for pie - Um - NONE!

Ok, I will eat Oreo or Key Lime....but on a whole I will pass, thank you.

I never thought of it before but I might keep that date handy so I can throw a party on π day. Next year it will be on a Saturday. We did miss the 69th day of the year party.

I am so happy that it is Pi Day. And yes, I am celebrating it. Both of my math classes are today, so we've been having a great time with Pi all day. As for your question, I love apple pie. Warmed up. With vanilla ice cream on top. Mmmmmmmm

K., I will officially be making fun of you ALL day tomorrow. Even if it is your birthday.

P.S. how does one celebrate Pi day?
