Do You Know What this Is?*

Since I'm notorious for being behind in fashion and beauty trends, it will come as no surprise that I lived 30 years without knowing what this thing is. A few days ago, I saw it in action and need some input.

Evidently, it's a blackhead remover, sold by the very reputable Revlon. I am told that you use it to push blackheads (or whiteheads) out of your head.

Do you use one? Talk to me.

* I know the picture is terrible, but it's the best I could find.

Interesting. I've never heard of this. I did a quick Google search and found reviews on Amazon.com. (the latest reviewer seems to offer the most help about the 'scooping action' and for best results, don't follow the directions on the package. The review is dated July 1, 2007.)

I have seen these before, but never used them. I've always been afraid that I would scar myself.

Yeah, I would be afraid to use something like this myself.

I got a facial once and they used something like that on my face. It HURT!

Isn't that why they invented those strips....do they do the same thing?

Heard of it.
Had one.
Scarred myself in high school until my Mom took it away from me.

I think I would stand in front of the mirror for hours and hours a day doing lots of damage to my nose and chin with that thing.
