Music as Medicine

If you've known me for more than 5 minutes, or read this blog, you know that I can't live without music. I get made fun of for being a country music girl, but I round that out with Southern and Classic Rock so I'm not all that bad. Throw in some 80s pop and hair band rock for good measure and I think I have a rockin' CD collection.

My friend T. has always amazed me with her music choices. We were inseparable for years so I guess I just assume that we should have the same musical tastes. We don't. Which came in handy yesterday.

I was having one of those moments where I felt like my life was living me instead of me living it and she was right there with a collection of songs to get me outta my funk:
  • Wasted Time - Fuel
  • Life is Beautiful - Sixx:AM
  • Paralyzer - Finger Eleven
  • Blue Jeans - Silvertide
Gotta love music - and friends who know how to use it.
