Main Entry: stand·point

Pronunciation: \-ˌpo·int\
Function: noun
Date: 1829
: a position from which objects or principles are viewed and according to which they are compared and judged

So, I know a guy who uses the word 'standpoint' a lot. By a lot, I mean just about every time he speaks. The past two times I've heard him talk, he's dropped:
  • From a dental standpoint
  • From an accuracy standpoint
  • From a marketing standpoint
It's annoying.
