Have you Heard ...

As I mentioned last week, I am now a BzzAgent. My friend S. signed up weeks ago, but I was skeptical. Now that she's getting cool stuff in the mail, I've decided to follow in her footsteps. The scoop:

BzzAgent is "a network of volunteer consumers who participate in word-of-mouth (WOM) campaigns. We're a community of communicators. We try products and services, form honest opinions about them, share those opinions with people we know and then provide feedback to engage in genuine dialogue with companies."

It really is that simple. I signed up, took a slew of surveys (which was kinda fun) and am now waiting for campaigns. Campaigns are when they send you stuff to review, usually new or not-yet-on-the-market stuff. S. has reviewed several things so far, including Ziplocs' new Zip 'N Steam new microwave cooking bags. (I tried one; it rocked). Once you review an item, you write a report (it can be brief) for BzzAgent. The end. No spam. No pressure.

I got my first campaign today: Listerine Whitening Quick Dissolving Strips - the first and only dissolvable whitening strips from a major manufacturer. (I copied that last part from the Web site.) Now I wait for them to come in the mail, use them, report on them, tell you guys about them and start the process all over again.

If you want to know more, check out BzzAgent.

I signed up this evening...so I guess I'm a BzzAgent now too. (though I haven't really figured out what to do yet, I've only taken some of the questionaires.)
