Worth the Drive

B., me, and the M.s headed north for supper last night - to the Macaroni Grill in Ann Arbor!

This was B.'s first time there and my second. I know that T-town supposedly has more restaurants per capita than any other city in the country, but we need a Romano's Macaroni Grill here! Delish!

Maybe the best part of the night was going with people who like to share food. This way, in addition to the sampler appetizer, we each got to try two soups, four entrees and four desserts! (All of which were, say it with me, delish!)

We will totally drive the 45 minutes to the Macaroni Grill again. (Although next time I think we're going to have to drive the hour, twenty to Bahama Breeze for B.M.)

Any restaurants you'd drive 45 minutes for?

Definitely! (Or more than 45 minutes)

Rockne's (Akron area)
Mongolian BBQ (AA, but I have heard T-town will be getting one)
Bagel & Deli (at Miami, or now Chicago!)
Buca Di Beppo (Cleveland or Nati)

No need to go to Bahama Breeze just for me, I had a great time at the ol' Mac Grill... The food was awesome! But I think what made the night so outstanding was all the "love sharing" going round.... It was ferocious!!!!

I've heard Rockne's is a really bad ass (as in sweet, or cool) place.... I smell a road trip!!!!

Rockne's is awesome!!!

(they put fries on their sandwiches...oddly, this truly fascinates me, and is one of the reasons I adore it!)

- Bagel and deli
- P.F. Changs
- And now that there's been so much talk about it - I could go for a Rockne's roast beef with fries on it.

I'm intrigued by Rockne's. I have never heard of it before!

S. - Have you ever been to Blue Pacific at Levis Commons? I love it! Haven't been to Mongolian BBQ, but I hear Blue Pacific is better.
